Sihan Kawser Ahmed
Sihan Kawser Ahmed (6th Dan Black Belt), the founder and Chief Instructor of the Chattogram Karate Association (CKA) began his Karate training since1990. He started training in Karate under Sihan Ratan Talukder at an early stage. He continued his training in several Karate master & countries, He started trining Karate as an instructor in 1993 through Chattogram Karate Association.
Mr. Kawser Ahmed achieved a Judge license in Kata from World Karate Federation (WKF) & Referee license in Kumite from Asian Karate Federation (AKF) and refereed in many countries. Currently refereeing and giving seminars in the Bangladesh. He also served as as a member of the Referee commission (2000-2011) for the Bangladesh Karate Federation (CKA). CKA is the only national governing body of Karate in the Bangladesh.
- During his long career, Sihan Kawser Ahmed has developed new methods for teaching traditional and sport Karate, and includes comparative analyses between them and other methods in his seminars. He has developed new concepts in Karate techniques through proper breathing and has pioneered teaching methods for developing speed and agility at any age. Mr. Kawser Ahmed teaches his students a wide range of martial arts, including traditional and sport karate. He emphasizes the philosophy and history of martial arts in all his seminars and classes.
- For the Kawser Ahmed, Karate is a family affair. Mr. Kawser’s wife ( Sensei Lata Parvin 4th Dan), Gold-medal winner at the 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 in International Karate Championships . She has been training in Karate for many years and participates in many national and international championships. Shihan Kawser Ahmed’s wife, Most. Lata Parvin, is the first woman from the Bangladesh to be licensed from WKF as a Karate Kata Judge.
- Sihan Kawser Ahmed has extensive experience developing successful karate programs throughout the United States and around the world. Since 1994, he has devoted his life to being a full-time Karate instructor and traveling around the world. Sihan Kawser Ahmed has continued his continuous efforts in promoting and promoting Karate events in various government forces, reputed Schools and Colleges apart from the Chattogram Karate Association.
